Rob Marin (Vocals)
Rob Marin is a vocalist, musician, writer and producer originally from Providence, Rhode Island. Rob has been performing professionally throughout the Northeast and Canada.
In 2011, Rob collaborated with Grammy Nominated writer and producer Andre Fennell, who is best known for his work with platinum selling reggae artist “Shaggy”. One song in particular, “Can’t Sleep”, appeared on the soundtrack of the Australian film “Dealing With Destiny”. A music video was also released for this record.
Some of Rob’s other accomplishments include being a guest on WGBB 1240AM The Real Radio Show where he performed at their location in Times Square NY, as well as on live web-stream for an estimated 1.7 million viewers. One of Rob’s songs “CATASTROPHE” was part of a compilation CD in “No Cover” magazine which was sold at Barnes & Noble Stores nationwide. Rob also won the “TOP MALE VOCALIST” award in the New England Talent Awards. Another one of Rob’s songs “Going Down” was chosen to be a part of the “Great Independent Pop Music Volume 1” CD.
Most recently, Rob has been making new records with well known artist/writer Greg Lato from PushPop Entertainment. Together, they co-wrote a new single called “That Summer”. Along with the release of the music video, his song is staged to become a summer hit.
When Rob began his venture, he wanted to do something different with his music by sharing his talent with the community. He was given an opportunity to work with the largest breast cancer organizations in the Northeast (Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation www.gloriagemma.org). For the foundation, Rob and Greg co-wrote the them song “I’ll Give Your Weak My Strength” and was aired on a PBS documentary Behind The Ribbon: “Beauty & The Beast”. Rob and Greg decided to donate 100% of the proceeds to go to their cause. Rob has also donated much of his time to make appearances and to perform the song live at their many events throughout the year. This exposure gave Rob the opportunity to be featured
